(a) Define the term 'Project'.

ANS:- Project: A planned activity with a specific goal, done within a limited time, budget and resources to achieve desired outcomes.

A project is a planned set of interrelated tasks to be executed over a fixed period and within certain cost and other limitations, to achieve a specific goal, objective, or set of objectives.

Key characteristics of a project:

1. *Specific objective*: Clearly defined goals and outcomes.

2. *Temporary*: Projects have a defined start and end date.

3. *Unique*: Each project is distinct and differs from others.

4. *Interrelated tasks*: A set of activities that must be coordinated.

5. *Limited resources*: Projects are subject to constraints such as time, budget, and personnel.




(b) What is "Unit plan"?

ANS- A unit plan is a detailed plan for teaching a specific unit of study, typically covering a few weeks or months. It outlines the learning objectives, activities, assessments, and resources needed to achieve the desired learning outcomes.


(c) Write one function of "Bulletin Board".

ANS- One function of a Bulletin Board is to display important announcements, notices, and information for easy access and visibility.


(d) What is meant by 'objective based' test item?

ANS- An objective-based test item is a question or task that assesses a specific learning objective, with a clear and measurable answer or outcome, allowing for unbiased scoring.




2. (a) Give an example of primary source used to teach the contents of Social Science at Secondary level. 1

ANS - A photograph of a historical event or monument is an example of a primary source that can be used to teach Social Science at the secondary level.


(b) Mention the domain and level of Bloom's Taxonomy of educational objectives that cover the objective of 'Making distinction between two objects'. 

ANS - The domain is Cognitive, and the level is Knowledge/Comprehension, specifically "Discrimination" or "Differentiation", which falls under the lower-order thinking skills.

The objective of making a distinction between two objects falls under the Cognitive Domain of Bloom's Taxonomy, specifically at the Analysis level.

c. Define Map. 1

b. What is formative assessment ?

It provides ongoing feedback to both students and teachers, helping to identify areas where students may need more support or where adjustments in teaching may be necessary. Unlike summative assessments, which evaluate learning at the end of an instructional period, formative assessments are typically low-stakes and occur frequently throughout the course. Examples include quizzes, discussions, peer reviews, homework assignments, and in-class activities. The primary goal is to improve learning and guide instructional decisions.
